Sales Agent Agreement

You participate as an independent sales agent, not as an employee, partner, or joint venturer of EGL Stores. You control how and when you promote EGL products. Nothing in this agreement creates an employment relationship under Nigerian law.

You are responsible for your own taxes, levies, and business expenses. EGL Stores does not withhold tax on your commissions unless required by applicable law.

All agents must apply through the official EGL Stores application process. EGL may require a valid government-issued ID and may verify your identity before approval. Approval is at EGL's sole discretion and may be withheld or withdrawn without obligation to provide a reason beyond what is required by law.

You confirm that information and documents you provide are accurate and belong to you. You may update your ID document later in agent settings. That update is optional and does not block your account unless EGL requests verification for compliance or fraud prevention.

• Rate: 5% on EGL Official products, 2% on vendor store products of the subtotal (excluding shipping and discount amounts).
• Cap: Maximum ₦10,000 commission per product item (each unit in the cart).
• Scope: Commission applies to eligible products sold on EGL Stores from any vendor listed on the platform.
• Attribution: Last-click referral within 60 days using your assigned agent code or approved referral link.
• Earned when: Order is paid, not cancelled, marked delivered, and the 14-day customer return period has passed without refund or cancellation.
• Void when: Order is refunded, cancelled, or determined to be fraudulent or a self-referral.
• Approval: EGL admin reviews and approves commissions after the return period. Approval is not automatic.
• Payouts: Approved commissions are batched and submitted to EGL's accounts team, then paid on the monthly cycle when your balance reaches at least ₦5,000, to the bank details on your agent profile.

EGL may change commission rates, caps, or program mechanics with reasonable notice by email and by updating this page. Continued participation after notice constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.

• Self-referrals or orders using your own account or email
• False, misleading, or deceptive marketing about products, prices, or EGL
• Spam, unsolicited bulk messaging, or illegal solicitation
• Cookie stuffing, click fraud, or manipulation of attribution systems
• Impersonating EGL Stores staff or misrepresenting your authority
• Using EGL branding without prior written approval where required

Violations may result in voided commissions, suspension, or permanent termination from the program.

EGL may provide referral links, codes, QR assets, and dashboard statistics. You may share approved links on social media, WhatsApp, and other channels consistent with this agreement and applicable law. EGL retains all rights in its trademarks, product listings, and marketing materials.

EGL may suspend or terminate your agent account immediately for policy violations, suspected fraud, chargeback patterns, or conduct that harms customers or EGL's reputation. On termination, pending commissions may be voided if tied to invalid activity. Approved but unpaid commissions for valid orders will be handled in accordance with the policy in effect when those orders qualified.

You may stop participating at any time by contacting EGL partnerships support.

The agent program is provided as-is. EGL does not guarantee any minimum income, volume of referrals, or continued availability of the program. To the fullest extent permitted by Nigerian law, EGL's liability related to the agent program is limited to unpaid commissions that have been approved and not yet disbursed for valid orders.
